Accurate Predictions for 2010

Not all predictions are accurate and we all know this. However, if these forecasts are backed by some accurate figures and realistic logic, it’s wise to consider them and be vigilant. Let’s see what experts have to predict for 2010.

We will see S&P reaching 1300 anytime this year

$500 billion stimulus fund is yet to be released and Senate trying to put in another $1 trillion. This will predictably cause dollar to be weak. Our government is talking about policies that will strengthen the dollar value, but they seem to be following a dollar-weakening policy. Moreover, there is constant dumping of dollars by China.

Housing prices and employment rate to fall

Accurate Predictions for 2010

The first quarter GDP shows a sharp rise of 4.5%. However, the real estate market is still moribund and no major enlistment has been noticed in the labor market. Most of the companies are focusing on cost-cutting and right-sizing. Hiring permanent employees still doesn’t seem to be the priority.

Plummet in gold prices will continue

The price of gold will plunge further to reach around $900 per ounce with the commencement of next quarter. Most of the publicly held gold corporations witnessed huge losses and the gold industry clearly emerged to be the worst performer. The trend will continue over next quarter as well.

Health Care stocks will dominate the market

Okay, maybe they wouldn’t dominate but they will definitely perform excellently in 2010. The Health care EFT’s have been underperforming since many months in the market. With a stable improvement, post correction, the price will raise gradually and substantially. Pharma companies, health insurers, health-care IT’s, and hospitals are worth investing in.

B will emerge to be a significant letter in BRIC: Brazil, Russia, India, and China

In 2010, China will be quite busy grappling its growth problems. Also, it’s quite difficult to target this country as an outsourcing center with its toughened regulations. Until now, India was a clear and obvious choice for outsourcing US activities. However, with dollar becoming so cheap, it’s affordable to perform the required business operation ‘in’ the country. However, with a robust banking system (intact even during global economic crises) Brazil seems to be quite a business-friendly destination. All BRIC countries performed quite well during the crises. But, in 2010, Brazil will surely outperform the other three.

Life will become easier with introduction of new iSlate

Very soon you will experience the ease of using a slim slate computer with open environment operating system permitting you to create your own applications that fits your needs.

Tiger wood will return and perform better in 2010

With augmented popularity he will definitely receive few more endorsements. Things seem to be quite intricate now, but you cannot expect a world-class player like Tiger Woods to retire so soon.

The world will definitely not end

However, the media wouldn’t as optimistic as me. They will surely try to convince and scare you with terms like terrorism, global warming, recession, hyper-inflation, nuclear attack, World War III, etc. The fact is they cannot survive without accentuating on such an alarming rumor. But don’t fret and don’t sell off all your investment. The world will not end so soon.
